The Memorial FD of Slaughter Beach and the South Bowers FD trained on propane emergencies at the Georgetown Camspus of the DSFS. Instructors Jeff Blizzard and Jamie Bethard did an outstanding job at teaching our group. Propane fires require precise hose handling and by the end of the evening our newer members were doing a great job moving the hose properly to keep those on the nozzles from being burnt. Great teaching and learning. Thanks to Chief Engineer Hayes for the food for all and thanks to Chief Bobby Johnson for having Sta 57 attend.
